ആവേന്‍ സ്ഥാനാരോഹണ ചടങ്ങ്

Sri Edathottil Mohanan was proclaimed as "Aaven" ( Temple Priest) by the Oraalan, Padanattil Karunakara Menon and his family and Ullattil Kunhirama Menon , Radhakrishna menon and their family and by the prominent families of the locality. Almost all the family members of Padnattil and Ullattil families were present to witness the auspicious occasion.This happened @ Mangattiri kotta temple Tirur @ 9.40 pm after a span of 44 years! The earlier occasion was the proclamation to the post of Mohan's late father Choyi. After his fathers ( Aven's) death Mohan had been carrying out the temple poojas without the aven title. As now he has been proclaimed to the post and so there will be the pooja of Thanthri ( Namboodiri) only once in a year, on the Chothi day when the idol was reincarnated.

ആവേന്‍ സ്ഥാനാരോഹണ ചടങ്ങ് 

ക്ഷേത്രം പൂജാരിയായ ശ്രീ. എടത്തോട്ടില്‍ മോഹനനെ 5.4.13 ന് നടന്ന താലപ്പൊലി ഉത്സവത്തിനിടെ രാത്രി 9.45 ന് നടന്ന ചടങ്ങില്‍വച്ച് ക്ഷേത്രം ഊരാള കുടുംബങ്ങളും, നാട്ടുകാരും ആവേന്‍ സ്ഥാനം ചൊല്ലി വിളിച്ച് വാഴിച്ചു.  ശ്രീ. പടനാട്ടില്‍ കരുണാകര മേനോന്‍, ചന്ദ്രന്‍ മേനോന്‍, മുരളീധരന്‍, പദ്മനാഭന്‍( ഉണ്ണി ) , രമേഷ് കുമാര്‍, വിജയ കുമാര്‍, ശശി കുമാര്‍, ഉള്ളാട്ടില്‍ കുഞ്ഞിരാമ മേനോന്‍, രാധാകൃഷ്ണ മേനോന്‍, രവീന്ദ്രന്‍ തുടങ്ങിയവര്‍ പങ്കെടുത്തു.

പാലം പൊടി 2013

ഈ വര്‍ഷത്തെ ക്ഷേത്രോത്സവത്തിന് തുടക്കം കുറിക്കുന്ന പാലം പൊടി ചടങ്ങ് 29.03.2013 വെള്ളിയാഴ്ച 3ന് ക്ഷേത്രാങ്കണത്തില്‍ നടന്നു. അടുത്ത വര്‍ഷം മുതല്‍ ക്ഷേത്രം ആവേനാവുന്ന ശ്രീ. മോഹനന്‍ ആയിരിക്കും ഉറയുന്നത്.

This Years Palam Podi Chadangu- which is the commencement of the yers Uthsavam - was celebrted at the temple premises on 29.03.2013 @ 3 pm. From next year onwards the new "Aven" Mohanan will  do the function.
