Annadaanam on last day

Today's annadaan was offered by . ഇന്നത്തെ അന്നദാനം 2 ഭക്തര്‍ വഴിപാടാക്കി.

1. Padanattil Sarojini Amma ( പടനാട്ടില്‍ സരോജിനി അമ്മ)
2. Padanattil Raghuraaman on behalf of C. Gopala Krishnan Nair ( സി. ഗോപാലകൃഷ്ണന്‍ നായരുടെ പേരില്‍ മകന്‍ പടനാടില്‍ രഘു രാമന്‍ )

ഗുരുവായൂര്‍ ഏകാദശി ആയതിനാല്‍ ഗോതമ്പ് ഭക്ഷണം , പുഴുക്ക് എന്നിവ ആയിരുന്നു. ഏകദേശം 500 ഭക്ടഹ്ര്‍ ആഹാരം കഴിച്ചു.
Around 500 devotees had feast of wheat as it was " Guruvayoor Ekaadasi".

ഭക്ഷണത്തിന്റെ മുഴുവന്‍ കാര്യങ്ങളിലും മേല്‍നോട്ടം നടത്തിയിരുന്നത് ശ്രി . സുബ്രമണ്യന്‍ ശ്രീ. വേലായുധന്‍ ഉണ്ണി എന്നിവര്‍ ആയിരുന്നു.

Bhagavatham quiz was held by aacharya. winner was chose by lot at the end of sapthaham. Radhakrishnettan's son-   Lalu-Indiraalayam was the winner.
ആചാര്യന്‍ നടത്തിയ ഭാഗവത ക്വിസ് നരക്കെടുപ്പില്‍ വിജയി ആയതു ഇന്ടിരാലയത്തില്‍ രാധാകൃഷ്ണന്‍ മേനോന്‍  ന്റെ മകന്‍ ലാലു   ആയിരുന്നു. അയാള്‍ക്ക്‌ സമ്മാനം നല്‍കി.

Today's Program

Kalkki's Birth, Storey Of Markandeya, Bhagavatha samgraha and avabrithasnanam

ഇന്ന് കല്‍ക്കി അവതാരം , മാര്‍ക്കന്ടെയ ചരിതം , ഭാഗവത സംഗ്രഹം , അവ ബൃത സ്നാനം എന്നിവ ഉണ്ടായി.

യജ്ഞ ശാല ഭക്തരാല്‍ നിറഞ്ഞു കവിഞ്ഞു.  

At the end of yajna acharya took  " avabrutha snaana" .  Aacharya takes baath at the end of yajna with god's idol. it's different from aaraattu. There Idol is taking bath by Thanthri.  Devotees also took bath in the temple pond. Padanattil Prabha took bath representing the Oorala famiylies. Then idol was bathed in turmeric powder again bathed, had aarathi and took back to the dias by procession and melam. and that was the end of yajna.

അവബൃത സ്നാനം - യജ്ഞാചാര്യന്‍ ബിംബവും ആയി ക്ഷേത്ര കുളത്തില്‍ സ്നാനം നടത്തുന്നു. വാദ്യ മേലങ്ങലുമായി ദേവനെ കുളത്തിലേക്ക്‌ ആനയിക്കുന്നു. ക്ഷേത്ര കുളത്തില്‍ ആചാര്യനും ദേവനും ഭക്തരും മുങ്ങുന്നു. ഊരാള  കുടുംബത്തെ പ്രതിനിധീകരിച്ചു പടനാടില്‍ പ്രഭയും സ്നാനം നടത്തി. ദേവനെ മഞ്ഞള്‍ തേപ്പിച്ചു കുളിപ്പിച്ച് ആരതി ഉഴിഞ്ഞു വേദിയിലേക്ക് തിരിച്ചു താലം, വാദ്യം ആയി ആനയിക്കുന്നു. ആരതി ഉഴിഞ്ഞാല്‍ യജ്ഞം അവസാനിക്കുന്നു.

ആചാര്യന്‍ എല്ലാവര്ക്കും യജ്ഞ പ്രസാദം നല്‍കി.
 Achaarya gave yajna prasaada ( the wholly mantras printed and prasaadam)for all.

vilakku pooja in the evening of 16.11.2010

After the Namajapa  pradakshinam in the evening the yajnacharya made the devottee's ( women) to do archana on their own. The whole yajnasaala was reverberated by the mantraas. The flowers lamp and oil were supplied from the temple.

യജ്ഞാവസാനം സ്ത്രീകള്‍ വിളക്ക് പൂജ നടത്തി. യജ്ഞാചാര്യന്‍ മന്ത്രങ്ങള്‍ ചൊല്ലി കൊടുത്തു.

Today's annadan is offered by two devotees. 2 ഭക്തരാണ് ഇന്ന് അന്നദാനം വഴിപാട് ആക്കിയത്.

1. Padanaattil Sreenarayanan ( പടനാട്ടില്‍ ശ്രീ നാരായണന്‍ )
2. Padanaattil Sunil Kumar ( പടനാട്ടില്‍ സുനില്‍ കുമാര്‍)

ഏകദേശം 300 പേര്‍ ഭക്ഷണത്തിന് ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.

Rugmini's Marriage with Lord Krishna

Padanattil Dr. Nimala and Chandrasekharan's 's Daughter Dhanya Chandrasekharan alias chinnu who is working in Bangalooru had the privilage of bearing Lordess Rugmini's Statue for the marriage to Lord Krishna. Let's all hope that like rugmini Chinnu's marriage will be solemnised soon.
